* To lead, direct and undertake design of track designs layouts and alignments (at feasibility, outline and detail design stages) including the use of Inrail/MX Rail modelling.
* Preparation of specifications, contract schedules, implementation/ construction plans and costings.
* To lead and input to feasibility and general consultancy studies, investigations and surveys.
* To provide specialist technical support and assistance to railway projects, and direction of allocated support staff.
