Job Description
·Read and interpret geological maps and aerial photographs to advice on selection of track alignments.
·Collating geotechnical data and producing reports.
·Planning field investigations by drilling or excavation and analyzing samples of deposits/bedrock.
·Identify deposits of construction materials, and assess the materials’ characteristics and suitability for use of track ballast and subgrade material.
