The senior buyer will:

be commercially aware and technically competent, based on a solid experience of a wide range of construction projects and methodologies
be able to secure and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors,
be capable of negotiating favourable agreements and appointing credible suppliers
carry out supplier and sub-contractor site visits nationwide,
instigate and manage supplier continuous performance improvement and management programmes
