· Manage, develop and motivate the accounting team to deliver best-in-class accounting services
· Foster excellent, collaborative, working relationship with decision support and other finance teams
· Provide support for finance-wide initiatives, including Peoplesoft implementation, Blackline and IFRS
· Oversee and control the monthly close process
· Strive for satisfactory balance of control and efficiency by considering alternative locations for different functions
· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and corporate accounting policy
